Overview

Langtang Valley Trek is one of the fascinating trekking experiences in Nepal. This trek offers several attraction sites which will blow your mind. Moreover, Langtang Valley is known as the Valley of Glaciers, so you will explore several glacial lakes along the trekking journey. 

Your journey begins in Kathmandu, where you will explore many world heritage sites like Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, Boudhanath, and many more. Then, we will drive to the classic route of Syabrubesi to start our trekking experience. 

Along the way, we will pass many classic stops where you can relax and stay overnight. We will trek through Lama Hotel to Kyanjin Gompa, the highlight of this trek. We will also hike to Tserko Ri for a better experience. Overall, your experience trekking the Langtang Valley will be majestic and out of this world.

1 Arrival in Kathmandu

Your first day of the trip will begin once you arrive at the Tribhuwan International Airport. Our representative will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to your comfy hotel. We will introduce you to our trekking crew and have a welcome dinner at night.

2 Kathmandu sightseeing ( Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Monkey temple )

Today, we’ll see some of Kathmandu’s most important historical sites. Swayambhunath stupa, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Bouddhanath Stupa, and Pashupatinath temple highlight Nepal’s ancient arts and architecture. The tour hotel will serve as our rest break.

3 Kathmandu - Syabrubeshi by comfort luxury jeep

Today, we will drive North to Syabrubesi in a private vehicle. The journey is of 8 hours and will take you to higher altitudes in the region. You will explore many local Nepali cultures on your way and the topographical diversity of the country.

4 Syabrubeshi - Lama Hotel

Our first walking destination is Lama Hotel at 2,500 meters altitude. The highlights of this day are the Langtang river and the beautiful rhododendron forest. 

There is also a chance for you to see red pandas, monkeys, and bears in their natural habitat. We will stay overnight at Lama Hotel.

5 Lama Hotel - Kyanjin ( day hike to Tshergo ri )

Today, we will head to the beautiful Kyanjin Gompa, the highlight of this trek. This trek will allow you to explore the ancient Buddhist Monastery and the cheese factory there. In short, you will have a fun day in Kyanjin Gompa.

We will also quickly hike to Tserko Ri as our day is still young. After a short hike, we will return to Kyanjin Gompa and stay overnight there.

6 Kyanjin - Lama hotel

We are on our return trail now. Our trail goes back to the route toward Lama Hotel. We will stay overnight here and relax.

7 Lama Hotel - Syabrubeshi

On this day, we will descend to Syabrubesi through the returning trail. The mountains seem far away and go away from sight as we reach the end.

8 Drive back to Kathmandu

Our trek ends here, and now we will drive back to Kathmandu. The drive will be at the same interval as before. In 8 hours, you will be relaxing in your hotel room.

Today, you will have a leisurely day in Kathmandu. You can relax as you like and explore the city.
