Overview

Mardi Himal Trekking is one of the rarest yet astounding packages we offer. It is around Annapurna Region, so that you will have a great view of the Annapurna Mountain Range. The plus point is that the place isn’t crowded.

You will have the trek to yourself and your group. Obviously, there will be stations like teahouses, lodges, and viewpoints. However, you will be distracted by the fantastic scenery of the mountains like Mt. Machhapuchhare, Mardi Himal, Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli the whole time.

We have brought you one of our best packages for your trip to be unforgettable. You will definitely enjoy your journey around nature. Besides, you might find our package comparatively more economical.

  • Breathtaking views of Annapurna Mountain Range.
  • Explore wildlife in thick forests.
  • Interact with different ethnic groups.
  • Experience homestay and forest camp.

Itinerary

1 Kathmandu to Pokhara Drive

We will start our journey on a road trip to Pokhara from Kathmandu. This trip will take around 6-7 hours of our day. When we reach there, you can relax at your hotel and explore the night light of the city.

2 Drive to Phedi and Pothana Trek

The following sunrise, we will reach Phedi after a one-hour drive. Then we trek towards Pothana to start our Mardi Himal trekking. You must climb stairs from Phedi, ascending through rhododendron and pine forests. Then, we reach a Gurung village called Dhampus. Walking through outstanding views of the mountains, we get to the Pothana checkpoint, where we receive TIMS/ACAP card.

3 Pothana to Forest Camp

On this day, we climb through a thick forest after having breakfast. From here, we can see Mt. Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges. You will catch glimpses of wildlife inhabiting the forest. We will set up a camp once we reach the forest camp.

4 Forest Camp to High Camp

Our trail gets steeper as we ascend through the rhododendron and juniper forest. While we walk towards the High Camp, our route will change from a steep climb to a relatively flat ascent. Again, we can see the mountains more clearly and closely.

5 Trek to Mardi Himal Base Camp

Finally, our next stop will be our destination. After a refreshing breakfast, we will start ascending toward Mardi Himal Base Camp. Although the trail gets challenging with narrow, rocky trails, it’ll be worth it once we reach there. After spending a few hours at the Base Camp, we will return to the High Camp to stay for the night.

6 Trek to Siding Village

We start descending on this day as we return. The highlight of this day is Mardi Khola. We will arrive at a village called Siding as we follow the river. We will be staying here overnight.

7 Trek to Lumre and Drive to Pokhara

We will leave for Lumre after breakfast. Our trail will be followed by coming across Tamang and Gurung Villages. Once we reach Lumre, our transport will be waiting for us for one hour drive to Pokhara.

8 Drive Back to Pokhara

ou can explore Pokhara city before we leave for Kathmandu. It’ll be 6-7 hours long drive. Our beautiful journey will come to an end once we return.
