Overview

We have brought you a fantastic package of trekking and tour in Nepal. You can trek the Manaslu circuit trek in the Manaslu region, a beautiful off-the-beaten-track adventure. Moreover, being a member of the Mansiri Himalayan sub-range, Manaslu Himal is the eighth tallest mountain in the world.

There are traditional settlements of the Gurung community along the trail. You can see many Buddhist landmarks along the routes, including monasteries, main walls, chortens, and others. Once you arrive in Kathmandu, we will take a sightseeing tour of the ancient junctures. This city has many UNESCO-listed world heritage sites, including Malla-era palaces, temples, and bihars.

We will follow the trails of Soti Khola to reach the Manaslu Region and begin our exciting trekking experience. The trekking route is filled with the perfect views of the snow-capped mountains. This trek will give you a unique combination of rich cultural heritages and adventure with exquisite beauty and unique biodiversity.

Itinerary

1 Arrival in Kathmandu

On your first day, you will arrive in the beautiful city of Kathmandu. We will pick you up at the Tribhuwan International Airport and transfer you to the hotel. At night we will have a welcome dinner and rest for the day.

2 Cultural Sightseeing in Kathmandu

After breakfast, we will go sightseeing in the beautiful valley and explore the cultural heritage sites listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. We will visit religious places like Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, and Boudhanath and cultural heritage like Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, and many more. This day is full of adventure and exploration, so buckle up your seatbelts for a fantastic ride.

3 Kathmandu to Soti Khola Drive

The following day, we will drive to the gateway of Manaslu Circuit, entering Soti Khola. We will travel the route of the Prithvi Highway for this fantastic journey. You can see spectacular views of high mountains like Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, and more during the ride. We’ll stay overnight in the village.

4 Soti Khola to Machhikhola Trek

Today, we will walk through bumpy and rocky trails as we approach our first trekking destination. We will come across many ethnic villages, forests, waterfalls, and rivers along the way. You can observe the diverse trail and landscape as we walk through suspension bridges to reach Machhakhola.

5 Machakhola - Jagat Trek

We will now trek toward the beautiful village of Jagat as we continue our Manaslu Circuit journey. We will walk across the trekking trail on the bank of the Budi Gandaki River and the suspension bridge. We will cross many uphills and downhills to reach the famous hot spring of Tatopani. After a while, we will get to the small village of Yaru, where you cross a long cantilever bridge to Jagat.

6 Jagat - Deng Trek

The following sunrise, we will trek to the restricted area of the Manaslu Region. You will require trekking permits to enter this zone, and you can continue on your trail. We will cross the forests of rhododendrons and pines after walking through the well-paved roads of Jagat. We will then reach the village of Philim and enjoy a few tea and snacks here. Finally, we will stay overnight at Deng.

7 Deng - Namrung Trek

We will now walk toward the Tibetan village of Namrung, exploring the mixed culture and diversity. Today, we will cross many forests, rivers, bridges, and waterfalls along the way. You will experience the local adventure of these rocky uphills and downhills. We will now have entered the rural area of this trekking region.

 

8 Namrung - Shyala gaun Trek

Today, we will enter the trails of the Nupri region, where you will be blessed with the magnificent sight of the snow-capped mountains. From Namrung, we will climb steeply and cross through the forest to take us to Lihi. You will visit the religious and peaceful Ribung monastery when you reach Loh. Now, we can view the breathtaking sights of the Manaslu mountain.

9 Shyalagaun - Samagaun Trek

We will cross the Numla Khola through a suspension bridge along our trail. The highlight of this day is the Pungyen Gompa, where you can peacefully explore the culture. Moreover, we will cross many local villages along our way and stop at teahouses to rest and interact with the friendly locals.

10 Acclimatization at Samagaun

The next morning, after breakfast, we will explore Samagaun. This day is for acclimatization and exploration. Moreover, we will visit nearby local villages and examine this region’s unique culture. We will also visit Labrang Gompa and Kargya Chholing Monastery to make this day more beautiful. After a short hike to Birendra Lake, we will call it a day.

 

11 Samagaun - Samdo Trek

Our trail ascends to the Manaslu base camp route as we follow the Budi Gandaki river. We will cross the bridge and then climb steeply to a ridge. Then, we will walk through several barren lands viewing spectacular views of snow-capped mountains. You can see the Samdo peak, Dharamsala, Manaslu, Siachen Glacier, etc. Once we reach the village of Samdo, we will stay overnight.

 

12 Samdo - Dharmashala Trek

Today, we will have a short trek to Dharmasala. Along the trail, we will cross many forests of juniper and alpine bushes along with the unique habitat of Marmont. Today’s highlights are the Larkya Bazaar, Syacha Glacier, Ancient Mani Stone Wall, and chortens. Once we reach Dharmashala, you can rest for the day.

13 Dharmashala - Bhimthang Trek

We will now cross the famous Larkya-La Pass (5,106m) to advance to our destination. After 4-5 hours of descent, we will reach the village of Bhimthang. Today, we will ascend the moraines of a glacier and enjoy the astonishing views of Himlung(7126m), Cheo, Kang guru(6981m), and Annapurna II (7937m). Finally, we will stay overnight in Bhimthang.

14 Bhimthang - Goah Trek

Today, we will descend to Goah Village as we follow the returning trail of the Manaslu Circuit. On our trekking trail, we will enjoy the last few moments of the Manaslu peak (8,163). Then we will descend toward Karcher via Sangura Kharka and Hompuk. The trails then pass through fields and climb uphill to arrive at Goah village.

15 Goah - Dharapani trek - drive to Besisahar

Our journey today is half a trek and half a drive toward Besisahar. First, we will walk toward Dharapani after breakfast and descend toward Besisahar in our private vehicle. You can enjoy the changing landscapes on our way.

16 Besisahar - Kathmandu Drive

We will return to where it all started, in Kathmandu. The drive will be as fascinating as the trek as we can view the changing topography and climb toward the Kathmandu Valley. You can visit nightclubs and enjoy the busy streets of Thamel at night. We will also have a farewell dinner.

17 Departure from Kathmandu.

Finally, it’s time to go home. You will have enjoyed the best adventures of your life as you return home. We will drop you off at the Tribhuwan International Airport and bid farewell.
