Overview

In Nepal’s Langtang region, the Gosaikunda-Helambu trek is a popular trekking route for its natural beauty and cultural significance. It takes approximately seven days to complete the trek and covers approximately 70 kilometers in total.

The journey begins with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Dhunche, followed by a trek to Shing Gumba. From there, the trail ascends to the holy Gosaikunda lake, which is an important pilgrimage site for Hindus.

The trek then leads to the Helambu region, passing through beautiful alpine forests, traditional Tamang and Sherpa villages, and offering breathtaking views of the Langtang mountain range.
